What We Do

Packs of Hope is a non-profit humanitarian organization committed to the vision that every child deserves hope.  We are partners with the community and county human service agencies to provide backpacks filled with essential clothing items to children and youth who are transitioning into out-of-home or foster care. 

We check out backpacks to volunteers willing to shop for new items to donate.  Each Pack of Hope contains a shirt, pants, socks, underwear, pj's, sweatshirt, toothbrush, and book or toy.  Every Pack that is turned in is double checked for consistency before it is taken to the county for use.

By partnering with the county human service agencies, caseworkers are able to distribute Packs of Hope directly to the children and youth transitioning homes at no cost to the county or child.
