Lunch Anyone?
Wednesday, December 12th from 12-2pm will be the last volunteer time for processing Packs of Hope in 2012. Come join us for lunch and help us get Packs ready before they are taken to the county. If you have new clothes to donate, bring them! Each month 75-100 Packs are needed to serve the kids of Colorado entering foster or kinship care so yes, we need donations!
Kidz Night Out for Foster Families
December 15 from 6-9pm at Waterstone Comm. Church, 5890 Alkire Street, Littleton, CO
Foster and adoptive families work hard, so let KNO give you a night off! For foster & adoptive families with children 6 months to 12 years old. Teens 13-18 are welcome to come be helpers. While you enjoy a night off your children will eat dinner, visit Santa, make a craft, play games, and enjoy fee time in an age appropriate class with trained Impact Orphans volunteers who have all had background checks. If you would like to participate either as a volunteer or a family that needs an evening out, please contact Alyssa Kilian at Alyssa@impactorphans.com

Orphan Sunday
Thank you to Foothills Community Church and Heritage Community Bible Church for having a "Fill a Pack, Fill a Need Drive" on Orphan Sunday, Nov 4. Here in America we don't realize there are orphans because of the lack of orphanages but there are more than 100,000 legally free kids who primarily live in foster care or group homes. Maybe you can't adopt one of these kids but you can still help them during this difficult transition - fill a pack and fill a need.

Thank you ...
Thank you Denver County for inviting us to the DECC Service Fair. We met a lot of great employees of Denver County who were so kind and care about their community. Thanks for all you do to serve the people of Denver. Congratulations to Gina who won a Starbucks gift card!
Remember - we are trying to get as many groups to "Fill a Pack & Fill a Need" in honor of Orphan Care Sunday in November. Get your co-workers together to donate new clothes! Send an email to me & let me know how many empty backpacks you plan to fill! info@packsofhope.org
